Membership

BEAM members are young adult leaders from 21-45 years old. BEAM recognizes the busy schedules of young professionals and affords its members flexibility. BEAM members are free to be as active as their schedules permit. If you choose to become a member, you can anticipate enjoying the following benefits:

Build new friendships
Network with other emerging community leaders
Develop leadership and board skills
Assist in event planning (i.e., Volleyball tournaments, Happy Hours, and Concerts)
Participate in activities with the children of Lighthouse (i.e., Bowling, Skating and Cookouts)
Attend enrichment seminars (e.g., grant writing)
Learn to plan and execute projects, social events, and activities
Develop an appreciation for philanthropy

Monthly Meetings

BEAM meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. Meetings are held at Lighthouse Youth Crisis Center, 3330 Jefferson Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220. For directions to the Youth Crisis Center, click here.

During the first 15 minutes of every meeting, BEAM members get to know each other and plan the next month's activity. Following the meeting component, BEAM members engage in activities with the residents of Lighthouse Youth Crisis Center.
