Forget marathons, telethons, and car washes. Think Happy Hour. BEAM volunteers hosted a Happy Hour Fundraiser at ZaZou's Bar and Grill in Covington's MainStrasse Friday, March 11, with guest bartenders and door prizes.
Door prizes included an 18-hole round of golf with a cart from AJ Jolly Golf Course, a Dick's Sporting Goods gift certificate worth $25, dinner for two at the Iron Horse, and a Trader Joe's gift basket, which earned Lighthouse $785.
BEAM's fundraising proceeds went to Lighthouse Youth Services programs and facilities, such as its emergency shelter, residential treatment, foster care, juvenile corrections, transitional living services for older homeless youths and in-home service for families in crisis.
