Buying raffle tickets for prizes from local, independent merchants: $3-$10. Seeing two hometown rock bands live: Free. Hanging out with friends at one of Cincinnati's best bars for a good cause: Priceless. BEAM volunteers held a fundraiser Friday, April 29, at Northside Tavern with special guests The Staggering Statistics and The Chocolate Horse to raise money for Cincinnati's Lighthouse Youth Services.
Raffle prizes included gift certificates from paoloUSA.com in Gaslight/Clifton, Northside Chop Shop, Ali's Boutique, Shake it Records, Bughouse Video, Saki Silver, Starbucks, and a few surprises! Prizes and a donation from Northside Tavern owner, Ed Rush, earned Lighthouse $1,125.
